Try the patter from Sean Taylor's "No Fails kids magic" DVD VOl. 1. He has a routine there where the rope represents magic wants. I bought it off him and its quite nice. nice and simple.

Whit Haydn -- The Mongolian Pop-Knot is the very best Profesors nightmare out there. Its a combo of cut and restored and profesors nightmare. Here is a vid.

That's the one right there Double "D". Da "Mongolian POP Knot". I have a pretty solid southern accent, I will be busking in the south.

When I do it at work for the kiddies it was hard getting in to it.

Hyden and you just solved that problem!

Whit did this routine way before he got into the "Pop Haydn" character. So you don't need the southern accent to pull it off.Although I must say it does seem to fit very nicely.

My favorit line in the routine is about the "pixie dust" The video was filmed at the Magic Castle.Whit had someome call out "is the pixie dust fresh" so he could get that line in for the filming. When doing this routine no one will ever ask that question so you have to kinda of ad-lib it.When you say "any questions" you look in the back of the room and say "what was that...is the pixie dust fresh...why yes it is...etc."

Its easy to learn, everyone loves watching it,lots of mystery and laughs, packs small plays big.Kinda of has it all huh.

Hope this helped...

Yea, I do like the "Pixie dust" comment. It will be used.

I will lead it with,

" In my world travels people have often asked me is that pixie dust real or even asked where do you get it ? I will tell you right now it is real and I have found it is cheaper to make it myself. blah, blah, blah"
