This has been annoying me for a few weeks now so i thought i would just ask everybody.

I can memorise the distribution of reds and blacks in a shuffled pack of cards in less than 30 seconds, usually around 25.
So i have been sitting around toying with the idea of having a brilliant set up for an OOTW effect or something.

OR

Do i just do it as a memory demonstration ?
Is it too odd to perform OOTW without a spectator assisting ?

Regards, Marc.

With out of this world, errors would stand out pretty badly in the final reveal. It might look better if you get someone to blindfold you, and have someone else draw each card, one by one, and show them to the audience. If you can, it might be more impressive if you start out slow, and build up tempo, to the point where you're naming them as fast as your volunteer can draw them. Presented as a mentalism routine, people will be more likely to remember the successes.

Oh, and make sure you demonstrate the card drawing thing as you ask the volunteer to do it. You wouldn't want them drawing random cards, or drawing from the wrong side of the deck.
