I am looking particularly for a topit that is most versatile, but also great for card magic(vanishing groups of cards, appearing, one hand to the other type trick) I am only aware of a few different type of devices, which would be the best?

Ive heard Perfect Holdout is very good, as well as Invisible Hand as a combo together. What about black widow, tko, or sleeve star?

Thanks,

Mark

I always thought the best topit was the one you made yourself. I think the other things you are listing are more utilities than actual topits. TKO is kinda close and can work for cards, but I'd think vanishing something as large as a deck would be nigh impossible with it.

If you are focused on cards, I'd look at the UCCU. You aren't going to vanish a whole deck with it, but there is ALOT you can do with it. You won't be able to vanish something as large as a deck. For that, I'd recommend the classic topit.

Thanks appreciate the feedback :)

What other types of card effects can be done with the UCCU?

I am looking for something to sharpen up in hand vanishes of multiple cards, or being able to invisibly exchange one group of cards in one hand for another in the other hand. I thought this is only possible with a topit type device? I was wondering if sleeve star is compatible with shimmed cards. I just want to find the best topit overall really. lol there is alot on the market, but also alot out of stock :(

Not sure how you plan on achieving that, or what your skill level is. I think you might be able to do "something" like that with UCCU. Beyond that, I can't say too much due to exposure.

The main effect the UCCU was marketed with was any signed card to any spectator's wallet.

You could modify the UCCU to work with more than one card.
Also, cell phone holsters that have a magnetic fastener for the flap make great card holdouts. Take this idea and you can place a hold out anywhere.
Magnets can be replaced with stronger ones if needed.
The holster flap may be cutoff to that a deck of cards other props can be accessed quickly. With it cut, the flap will still fasten and work as a holdout.

Michael Ammar's is good, but you will need a tailor or know how to sew.
