First let me start by saying that I new to this site and magic in general and so if my question seems dumb I can't help the fact that I am a beginner. Here is my problem, I have purchased the Yigal Mesika Loops DVD Vol 1 and 2 with some loops and have been practicing the tricks that were explained on the DvD. Every trick were pretty straight foward except for Finn Jon's "Jumping Bill". I have tried the trick but the thing is the loop when I hook the bill on it and I pull and release does not snap back it cannot carry the weight of the bill. Its elasticity is not strong enough. So I have tried with all the loops and they are all like that. Plz someone help what am I doing wrong?

It should work with the Mesika loops. hhmmm Try using only newer, crisper bills; not old, softened ones. Are you using US bills?

Thx! No I am Canadian and therefore use Canadian bills. I just looked on line and apparently A U.S dollar bill (or any denomination bill) weighs 1 gram. and the bill that I happen to use which was a 10$ Canadian bill weighs 1.1 grams so the difference is insignificant. However your assumption was correct, the bill was old and soft not new and crisp. So basicly the bill would just hang there like clothes drying on a clothesline. Even if I pulled the loop near the breaking point. Have you successfully attempted this trick in the past?

Yes, only when I was in the US though. I now live in Australia and the bills here are made of a type of plastic and don't really work too well.
