Can someone guide me in the direction of a 3 fly routine suitable for a stand-up or parlor type situation??

Thanks in advance,

-Ari :)

Eric Jones developed a routine called "Simplex Three Fly," and it is appropriate for close up and parlor. Really, any Three Fly routine is appropriate for both venues; it's only determined by the size of the coins that you use. For close up, use half dollars. For parlor, use Morgan dollars or American silver dollars.
In any case, I recommend Simplex Three Fly. It's fairly demanding, but it's worth the work.

Although Daryl is best-known for his card work. He does have a three-fly routine that's currently on sale with Penguin http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/S6251

He and Richard Osterlind are my two favorite teachers. I haven't seen this new DVD, but I do have an older incarnation that's very good, like everything with Daryl's name on it.

Eric Jones also has a killer 3 Fly on his Mirage Et Tois DVD. It is not particularly hard if you have some basic coin skills. No gimmicked coins. Would work stellar in a parlor situation. If you are standing and the specs are seated, the angles are great.
