D'Lite Batteries

I don't have a D'Lite, but I thougt about getting one later, but I was just wondering:

How do you replace the battereis in one, or do they even need batteries?

It seems like they would take watch batteries.

One more question,
About how long does each one last before dieing?

No batteries, if you don't walk around with them on all the time they seem to last a long time. I was told around five hundred uses, what ever that means.

It takes a watch type battery but a little bigger. It lasts a long time.

They take Lithium CR1616 3v batteries.

You can get these at just about any electronic store, like Radio Shack.

Does the cost of the batteries outweigh getting a new set? I was told it'll be best to just get new ones as you have to pry out the button to put in the battery.

Nope. Taking out the battery is extremely simple. All you need is a pair of tweezers to yank it out, and you can push one back in using your fingers.

The batteries go for $3.16 at radio shack.

Good info, thanks for giving it out. Now do you have any advice for an idiot who likes to wash his D-lites weekly?

if ur battery on your d'lite burns out or even dies(like mine did after they went through he wash) you can get new one's by sending them in to the d'lite distrubuter for $9.00 i know it's more expensive but i may be less hassel....

id just buy new ones, these batterys cost about $5-$10, penguin sells d'lites for incredibly cheap

They cost $3.16 at Radio Shack..... I don't know where you found them for 10 bucks a piece.

D'Lite batteries should last a VERY long time. The only reason why I replaced mine is because I bought them from eBay, and one of them was pretty dull...

There's practically no hassle changing the batteries. You reach in with tweezers, pull it out, reverse.

I have about four 'Very" clean D-lite's lying around that is begging for a new battery, hopefully an unwashed battery.

i say red if u play in dark
blue if it is moring (its stronger) and blue is good in dark
never seen gold
dont forget to get right size
