Isn't this exposure ( I don't think getting King size is ever necessary )?

I've got a couple of pairs of D'Lites that are several years old and that, until recently, I kept in my car, (subjected to the Florida heat), and only one battery of the two has died in over 5 years of occasional use. Since I've got quite a few other D'Lites, I didn't try to replace the battery. I yanked the housing for the gimmick out and the remaining piece is a pretty good quality TT. My vote: Remove the battery & gimmick and use the item as a utility item, then purchase a new D'Lite. ...But you'll get a lot of use out of your D'Lite before you'll have to make a decision about it.

id just buy new ones, these batterys cost about $5-$10, penguin sells d'lites for incredibly cheap

They cost $3.16 at Radio Shack..... I don't know where you found them for 10 bucks a piece.

D'Lite batteries should last a VERY long time. The only reason why I replaced mine is because I bought them from eBay, and one of them was pretty dull...

but isnt that for one batterly only?

Ya a good way to clean them would be nice. Mine also got black on the tips. Mine got black from putting one under my shirt. Doing the dlite through the shirt bit.

Rocco just sent me an email:

nail polish remover or ajax does that work or you might need a new pair.

Any other recommendations otherwise to make the D Lites brighter? On the DVD there is just a tip to make them darker.

Thanks

Dan
