Does the floating doller bill work the same way as the hummer card exept that it isnt spinning? I have the hummer card and I really like doing levitation effects. :D

The hookup is different. the hummer is far harder as it has special moves and control needed yet the payoff is greater in some respect

considering that this is iin the restaurant section, i will assume that you are intending of doing it in one. I would say no to doing hummer card in a restuarant do to the fact that the hummer card needs more space, and that is something that may not be a luxury to you.

In my opinion, all levitations are the same and they all STINK. The spectators are always looking for a string, which, if you look hard enough, can be seen. I have bought Spun, THe Humming Bird, and The Floating bill. They were all the same idea. NOT RECOMMENDED>

to IT or not IT. If you have the appropriate thread in the appropriate lighting i won't be seen. But yeah when you do a levitation effect everybody knows its string, but i do "Spun" and the "Hummingbird" alot as more of an attention getter. I don't perform it for people i just do it while i'm waiting. And floating dollars? if you must do this for anyone get the "Spider pen" you can at least walk away from it and let it float down on its own and back up again. I use the spider for hummingbird and it works suprisingly well. If it floats its rigged, but if it moves in ways that make it not seem rigged (i.e. around your body more than once without getting closer, through hoop arms), then you have something there.
I was never fooled by this effect as a child i knew the ball or ring or whatever must have been attatched to string of some sort.

IT is not always effective in the Restaurant atmosphere. You never know how the lighting is going to affect the trick until you do it. It's not worth it. Too many floodlights in restaurants going all different directions. I say no to this effect in a restaurant. If you want to do something simple with loops, that may not be bad, but I'd be cautious with theother IT effects.

I have a card with different sized thread on it, about 5 or 6. When i know i'm going to perform at a restaraunt i whip it out and see which thread will work and that helps. It gives you a feel as to which IT will work under that particular lighting.
