how would you perform them?

would you perform them in an entertaining manner? If yes, then they are good. If not, then they aren't good.

Well, then, why don't you wait until you've done a few days in the restaurant then decide whether you'll use them.

I already have a routine

Well I'm sure one table will have a great time. For the other tables, who have already seen the routine when you first performed it, will be bored and uninterested.

Get real. If you knew you could do this, and had a good understanding on restaurant magic enough to come up with a routine, why wouldn't you know if these were good for restaurant work?

There goes another restaurant which will never hire another magician.

look, he may have made mistakes but i think he gets the point. can you not just help him out now?

i am not an expert on table hopping so i can't really help, but if you have a collection of 10 tricks that you can do well, i think you will be fine. Show 3 to each table, then go to the other side of the room where they will not have seen the tricks etc.

edit: of course 10 will not do for the long run, but i think it would do for a start.

Actually I pulled some items out the other day, and I heard a few people in the audience say: "Cool some Paul Harris, and Eugene Burger stuff!"

Not.
