I have never heard of this effect until now, it sounds great if you can afford it, I would think that a chop cup routine would be enough but if you buy this and post a re view it may just spike some of our interests...

ill wait on it, I dont do restaurant work as of yet. It is pretty much just a chop cup with a salt shaker. I wouldnt use the vanish at the end as everyone pretty much knows how its done already. It would be pretty sweet to have it setup for a switch with the shaker already on the table though. Its only 20 buck so its not expensive at all.

This is not a restaurant effect at all. 1. you walk up to a table and bring your own salt shaker. First thought, why not use the one on the table? Because his is rigged. 2. you have to sit down to make the whole thing disappear. When table hopping the last thing you do (it will be the last thing because you'll be fired for doing it) is sit down with a customer. You are an entertainer, NOT a member of their party.

I have a few ideas about how it may work, and paddy is probably right (more or less). What I am thinking isn't as drastic though, and would allow it to be switched in and out easily. The use of your own salt shaker may be to avoid 1: emptying another shaker. 2: getting salt on the balls.

As for the problem of sitting. I devised a way of using effects that require "lapping" without needing to sit, effectively removing that limitation.

I'll be sure to post a review when it arrives.

It is obviously what Magikarn alrady said, I salt shaker with chop cup features...I don't beleive this is exposure as it was already said and is only a speculation, looks good for someone who can't afford a real expensive chop cup.

A chop cup uses a device. This shaker is made from clear glass. How can you hide the needed device plus the ball inside? Try another explanation.

It is definately a chop cup. The lid is big enough to hide the ball. It even says so in the description at a different website.

Depends on the balls you use. PM me about that.

I know about chop cups, I use one in my sidewalk show. I did not go into any detail because of the silly way the bird defines exposure.
