What is Restaurant Walkaround? What do you do? How do you do it? Why do you do it? Who do you do it on?

Search around, there are many posts on this.

You basically entertain the customers. Most people do this to help pay the bills. How do you do it?... lots of work.

All of these can be found by looking through the posts in RW.

This post scares me. What you are saying is "I've never even seen this but I want to start doing it.

OK To answer you serialatum. Restaurant walk around is exactly the same as any other kind of walk around, except it is performed in a working restaurant.

"What do you do" Magic, of course. First do you understand the different venues? Stage, parlour, cabaret, Street (busking,) walkaround, and a couple of others. This is just one venue to perform in.

"How do you do it" Very well, the same as I do all my performances.

"Why do you do it" Well Friday night I made (U.S.) $200 and Sat night another $300, plus on Sunday my noontime gig paid $130 for 2 hours. Plus I have restaurant shows on Tues, Wed, and Thurs, in addition to the weekend.

"Who do you do it on" I don't perform my magic ON anyone. (There are a few women that I wish I could, but this is a family forum.)

I agree with most of what you said but I don't think that he/she said h/s wanted to be a RM.
