I think if you have to ask that, you dont need to be performing in a restaurant, and I hope you dont plan on starting any time soon.

What matters is not the trick or effect, but the PRESENTATION. With out a good presentation you and the trick will flop.

i know that, but sometimes when i do perform card tricks, i get some looks like 'oh, it's just another card magaician.' thats why i was asking.

And if you use coins, people will say "are you going to pull it out of my ear?" there are always little stereotypes in magic, you just have to break out of them.

yea. sometimes dealing with the audience is harder than the trick itself.

That means your card tricks aren't very good. Learn a card-to-impossible-location effect. They're good.

its all presentation and patter

all i do (god have mercy on me) or for the most part, i do cards

my routine is

CCK


its all in presentation
