I have been doing magic for almost 10 years and what has worked for me that whole time is ten tricks one non card trick for every two card tricks and one extra non card trick. Other than that just be yourself have fun and if there are heckelers just don't do as many tricks for them and move on.

Your spelling and grammar tells me you have not been doing magic for ten years.

You didn't do anything wrong, handwerker.

People on these forums are just very used to reading posts made by new (usually young) magicians who want to sound like they are really experienced (or talented).

Usually they post things that slightly resemble the post you made. And usually they haven't been on the forums very long (like you). They are usually arrogant and just want attention (UNLIKE you).

We just like to make sure that we don't let the forums go to the "n00bs."

(I always get an awkward feeling when I type that word... n00bs... )

Where are you from? From your posts, I would say either English isn't your first language, or you're younger.
