Hey everyone just out of curiosity what restaurants do you perform at? I've been looking around the area for what I think might be an appropriate place to perform at yet none of them seem like they would hire a magician. I don't know if its just the area I live in or just me but if you could let me know what places have hired you so hopefully I can find one for myself =D

what type of Pizza place? is it family owned or part of a chain or something? I was under the impression I should be looking for places that are bit more classy then say Chilis or Don Pablos.

Its just an single pizza place thats local. Not a chain, not family.
IT has a bar, they play black and white comedys in the pizza half, sports in the bar half. They have and arcade and party room.

I personally stay away from chains and franchises.

One of my gigs is at a pizza place, I find they are easier to work at. Usually a better atmosphere and meal time isnt to bad so generally the restaurant will have a good turn around time.

Zenn, I just noticed that your in Orlando. MY GOD MAN you have more places than most people to work there.

My wife and I were at the International Face Painting covention there a couple of years ago. While she was conventioning I went out and hit some local restaurants close to the hotel (across from Universal Studios.) Well I paid for the convention, the hotel and the meals in 5 days. Worked a couple of hours at lunch and a couple during the dinner rush just for tips. Had only one restaurant tell me no so went next door that day and pulled in a couple of hundred.

You are in a place where the tourists LOVE to SPEND MONEY!! and they do it very well.

Paddy
