If you are not a good enough performer to get PAID by the restaurant, you are not gopod enough to perform at the restaurant.
Even if they pay you a lousy $50 a night (that's $25 an hour) plus tips. If you work for free you denigrate the performing industry. Why? 'Cuz when a real performer who makes his (her) living comes to the restaurant the manager says "I have some kid who works for free, that's good enough for my customers."
