Hey guys, is any one out there experiencing stage fright and if you do how do you deal with it.....
I have been having trouble trying to keep my nervous calm in front of people I shake like a leaf and I dont want to drink before performing lol.
Your input will be greatly appreciated.

i did it to, most the time its a lack of self-confidence so just practice untill you know for sure you wont mess up on a move and that should boost your confidence, also dont practice till you get it right, practice till you cant get it wrong

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Best fight against fear...knowing you can do your stuff in your sleep, with nothing but pure ease.

but if you do know your stuff, stage fright is like a cramp when you are running. You want to stop, but you have to realize that if you just run through it, the cramp will go away.

There are two things you need to remember when overcoming stagefright in a restaurant.

1. You are the dessert for these people
2. You're not on a stage!

I no longer get nervous. I have stopped caring if I screw up. I rarely do, but if I do its no big deal.

But when I perform at the Local Ring meeting every month I get very nervous. Something about performing infront of other magicians makes me real nervous. But in front of laymen, not nervous at all anymore.

always remember to use improve, get into a conversation with the audience and make sure the magic follows the mood in the room
