It would be so cool to work in restaurants, unfortunately no restaurant around here has had a magician and I have never seen one perform before. So I really have NO IDEA  how they work and such. Well a crash course or beginner tutorial style book/video would be great for penguin to start carrying. I was wondering if you guys had any books to suggest and review because I don't see any on Penguinmagic.com. I've heard of Jim Pace's and a Magic Menu book, anyone have these?
Thanks :P

I've been doing returant magic off and on for years. Try Amazon.com. If you'd like some advice on getting into resturants Pm me. I can help suggest some routines as well.

I like Carl Andrew's Magic From Maui book. I use some of those routines every night.

I just ordered "The complete guide to restaurant and walkaround Magic" by Kirk Charles and I was wondering if some you magicians that work restaurants can tell me if it was a good investment? I am a long way off from performing but am working towards it.Thanks in advance for the help.

Johnny Ace Palmer has a great set of lecture notes regarding Restaurant Magic, if you can get your hands on it.
