Rember you are there to entertain, not impress wih your sleight of hand skills. The kids and the adults (Most of them) do not want to be 'fooled', they have hired you to entertain them and ALL their guests, there desire is to be entertained-period!

Realize when you are entertaining for people at a kids birthday party or restaurant, you are not at a FISM, IBM or SAM convention (Hard to think about, I know)...but you will receive no awards, you have nothing to prove!

JUST ENTERTAIN! No holds barded do try to act suave and deviner while performing at a kid’s birthday party (Unless this is your style and your character).

When the parents see their child laughing so hard, that it takes a few moments to start your next part of the routine and the adults are laughing just as hard (sometimes harder, they almost wet them selves).

This is what gives you what is called REPEAT business, suave and deviner will get people telling you how nice it was to have you at the party and hand you a plate with cake and ice cream on it on your way out the door. BUT HAVE THEY CALLED YOU AGAIN and AGAIN and...!

The truth is the truth whether one chooses to believe it or not
