how old were you guys when you started working for arestaurant. I am fourteen and have been doing magic for 6 years now i just wanted suggestions of when i should try to start working in restaurants

im also looking for a resteraunt to work at and i think i might have found one.

I think the best thing u can do is try and get people who have seen ure magic to tell other people they know about it and maybe from that u can get a gig who knows

I think the only thing bad about performing at a younger age is that the adults tend not to give us respect. They dont want to enjoy the magic.

i think 14 is a bit young to do it (just my opinion) i would wait till your 16 at least, cause if you do get a job then you can start getting private customers and party's and you will have to do alot of driving and im sure that nobody want's to drive you all over the place. plus like MasterJ said the adults will give you more respect and enjoy the magic more. Just my opinion though.

It's a good a opinion, though. I have to agree, especially on the driving all around point you brought up. My parents would not want to drive me everywhere, and I certanly would not want them to drive me everywhere for their sakes.

I 'm 17 and been doing magic for quite a while...and I was wondering if some of you youngsters actually have a contract with the restaurant and stuff ??? Did you guys went through the process of the Social Security , the form filling, the work permit, etc.,?? Any help would be very appreciated...
