okay if i mess up while working in a restaurant to a couple sitting at a table and i have already done a couple of tricks to them, but suddenly my palmed coin falls onto the ground, i should :

a)pick it up and run to a different table

c)not say I messed up and go on to a different trick
d)say i messed up and go to a different table
e)keep going with the trick like nothing happened

g)start screaming "WAAAAHHHH" i messed up
h)starteating there food
i)throw a tantrum
j)say "i have to go to the bathroom"
k)pick up the palmed coin and say "see another coin appeared!"
l)take the coin off the ground and put it back in to the palmed position
m)act like nothing happened and make up a new trick on the spot
n)pick up the coin and ask if they dropped it in a sarcastic manner
o)say "sorry i dropped my coin" and pick it up
p)pick up the coin and give it to the customer as a souviner
q)put my foot over the coin to hide it
r)stop the trick immediatey
s)pick up the coin switch it with a bite out coin and say "i think you dropped some food" and take the bite

I would say b, but of course make a joke before you go into the next trick of how you messed up the last one.

Act shocked that there was a coin somewhere! I have done this before and acted like "WHAT??? How'd that go from over there to over here already?" I am pretty good at making the best of spontaneous moments, like a situational comedy type thing, so this would have been my approach.

I like that you're trying to learn from a mistake and not taking it as a performance gone sour. Good for you!

Take a tip from J Bobo. Pretend to pick it up while you slide it under your foot. It works for me.

yup deffinately either pretend to pick it up, and make use of the fumble. There are 2 different options in Bobo's MCM book...

s or t or state you messed up and do something else. It is also a good idea to have an OUT for every weak point in your routine. So whenever you do screw up. Take a note of it and work out an out just in case it happens again. Bear in mind you can't have an out for some situations and you gotta admit you blew it.
