I live in New Orleans and want to know if there any good places to find a good walkaround job.

Also I would like to know if anybody in New Orleans is a penguin member.

There has to be tons of work to be had in New Orleans what kind of looking have you done? Have you inquired about other Magi in the area?

I travel to New Orleans a lot with my job, and go down to the Quarter quite often. It's easy to draw a crowd. Play your "cards" right, and you never know what oportunities might arise.

I have not started to look for work, just started going to college here.
First I just wanted to see if anybody knows were I can find work. I will continue to practice my routine.

Just check out different restaurants... a friend of mine was telling me about a restaurant that employs a magician in New Orleans(can't remember where though, i'll ask him later and post it).

I'm actually from Houma, so I'm not too far away. I'm working on getting a job at our local Outback right now. Are you a member of the IBM in New Orleans? I'm not, but was looking to join it.

I have yet to look into IBM in New Orleans ;however, I would love to join. Do you know where ring meetings take place. I went to one in baton rouge as a guest once. It was held at a hospital conference room.

You might wanna try something in the french Quarter, as said before...possibly Cafe du Monde or some swanky place, unless you wanna work in Metarie.

You can find info on other rings in other areas by going to the IBM website. I was thinking of joining the N.O. one because it's the closest, but I haven't decided yet. It's either there or Lafayette for me.
