Yes. I usually work 4 hour shifts, from 5 to 9 PM, however I do have one place that only wants me for 3 hours so I go with that. Over 4 hours would be boring to the staff and you really want the staff on your side.

Remember that 4 hours gives me more time to get tips than 2 hours and when I figure I make $25 to 30 an hour in tips on weeknights that is an extra $50 a night. On weekends it goes up to $50 to 100 an hour in tips, depending on season.
