I dont do restarent magic but I have both Ravens. You have to use your coin. If you get a steal core coin you can hand it out for examination. Get the Raven. Dont get Raven X2 its horrible! If you have more money, I would go with ther M5.

tnx, i got the regular one. i live in Israel, and Israel coins work here with the raven :):):) no need to buy steel core. hm, sk8board, i'm not sure i need to open with cards, i think i just need to open with something visual enough.
after the raven i can go to cards, and then something else to close, the whole thing won't take more then 2-3 min, which i think is about right...
tnx for the advices guys,

Tomer

Not very wise advice. Quick and visual is the key for a good opener.

Tomer,

I use the Raven to end my Scotch and Soda routine. I use a steel core quarter and then at the end when the Mexican coin has turned into the quarter, I lay the quarter and half dollar on the table, wave my hands over them and vanish the quarter. This always gets a fantastic reaction, especially when I show my hands completely clean. I then take the half dollar and do a very simple vanish of it using misdirection and am left completely clean. For routining I can then move on to another type of effect like cards because I don't have any coins left to do magic with! It works great for me and in the restaurant where I work it is very easy to reset without being noticed at all. I've even reset the effect right in front of people and they don't have a clue what I'm doing.

My 2 cents!

Thanks,

Dave

You dont need any type of shirt. In fact if you go to the PO section, there is instructions on a method you can use with NO shirt at all!!!

Be creative, the raven is a good effect.
