i can see it now......(angry looking ppl sitting at tables banging their forks and spoons on the table.....)"we want magic!!" we want magic!!

sorry i am very sleep deprived as of right now, but i wonder if that was ever the case.

I would LOVE to have that happen!!!! I do work with a partner who is a face painter. We use only FDA approved face paints, NO acrylics!!!! She quite often has a line of both kids and adults getting their faces painted. She has a tip jar on the table and makes GOOD tips! She will bring in between $40 to 50 per hour on Fri., Sat., and Sun. So we do all right with that part of the business with 2 incomes per show
I am sending out sales letters now for a different market where I charge $400 a day to start. Talked to one magi that just got a job in same market area paying $1,500 per day for a five day run. Not bad.
If that goes I will drop the restaurants. Hey if it goes I will even sell my restaurant shows to someone instead of dropping them.
wow that is amazing! that is one heck of an income for doing something you love. funny thing is, i did a kids show one time, and that very thing happened to me. they were all anxious to see "the magician" and i was still setting up my show!

i guess i pulled that out of my subconscious memory. i am sure a demand for magic at a restaurant would be a great thing, especially if the manager heard them.

sorry sk8board, but we are talking "restaurant magic", and i thought your question was pretty much answered.
