Well, tonight i have a trial run at applebees. Going around dinner time, 6 to 9 ish. Kinda hurts my night with the ladies, but it should be fun. Im doing some table hopping. Ill be bringing simple things, sponge balls, just some cards, stuff like that. I thought i woul be nervous, but the tricks im doing, are just too familiar with me to even worry about it. So, it should be some good experience. If you have an applebees around you, i would suggest asking for the managers number, and set up a meeting. Just wow them. Bring some kids things, as they like for you to be adding to the "family" envoronment. Thats a quote from the manager pretty much. Hopefully I will have some good stories when I get back. Any comments on things i should bring, or not bring. Thanks!
Nick

Well, im back. It was great, so easy, and fun. No real problems, couple drunk tables i just walked away from. Just did some basic card tricks, a torn and restored napkin, pretty fun things.

Wow, an applebees! I thought that "big" chains didn't hire magicians! Aren't bee's tables a bit close?
Name some of your trick sets! Also, how old are you and when do you plan on working to get paid how much?
thanks

The LeClair hookup works BEUATIFULLY in restaurants. He basically only does that.

Are you Afraid of Invisible Thread is great for restaurant. pick it up. and if you dont want to do any invisible thread tricks then dont. You wont notice its there. ever.

Congrats on your job. I already have a job at another restaurant, but the more the merrier.

P.S. how old are you, as it sometimes matters. I just turned 15.
