I don't know if you know this, but that is less than minimum wage!!! Talk with the manager and try and up the price a little, you're getting laughed at right now by the manager, he got a great deal. Try and talk to him about it.

It all depends on your skill level, advertising, and who kn ows you and can give a good review.

I'm sorry, not to sound rude, but I really don't think you should be perfroming then. You still need practice, you need 5 months of practicing routines at bare minimum, not 5 months of being into magic. Exactly where are you working? How long have you worked there and how long do you work? I hope you're not fooling around, professional magic is a serious buisness (once again, not meaning to sound rude if i do). .. yeah dude i agree.. even if that's canadian that's still a load of money.. i remember when i was in my 5 months i was still having trouble doing the classic pass and the multiple card back palm.. unless you've been practicing a good amount of time.. [maybe around 6-8 hrs a day]

Don't quite know how to say this but remember that you can go to edited for lying just as fast as for stealing.

Right now I'm 17 (just turned this month), and I have had a restuarant job for two months.
I make $35 an hour at a fast food restuarant (Chick-fil-A). I do it once a week (tuesday nights) for only a few hours.
So ya, this is my first restuarant job.

Been performing for 4 years - just recently started in the restaurant scene. I was hired to perform Friday and Saturday nights.

That's pretty good going StreetWolf.

For restaurants I charge $214.68 for the first 2 hours and $89.45 per hour after that.

My FIRST bar/resturant was 13 years ago--I charged $10 per hour for 2 hours. After 2 weeks the manager rasied it to $25.00 for two hours. I did that 4 times a week.

Then another club wanted me afeter seeing me at the first culb, I charged them $20.00 an hour for 2 hours

THe next place was $25 an hour and up and up and up.

Start at what you believe to be fair for what you do and raise accordingly.
