I am solely a card magician, but I am wondering whether pickpocketing can improve any of my tricks.

For example, is it possible to pickpocket a spectators wallet, via misdirection place his signed card back in it, and then place it back in his pocket? (Or something to that effect)?

Even if not, could anyone offer a good starting guide for PP? Thanks

It is possible, but people will get upset if you remove their wallet. It's a natural reaction. However, planting a card on their person isn't as dangerous, doesn't require as much guts, and achieves the same effect to them. Really, if you get a card in a person's pocket, they'll be amazed.

I do a signed, folded card in envelope for the end of my ACR, but I've always wanted to try planting the envelope on a spec.

Yes I do a very similar ending, if it ended up in their pocket that would scre the s*** out of people.

If you can successfully remove someone's wallet, and place a card in it, then replace the wallet, the spectator won't care, because they won't know you pickpocketed them. However, it's not an easy thing to do.

Putpocketing, the opposite of pickpocketing, where you just place something into someone's pocket, may be a little easier. But you will still have difficulties doing it. Also, if you're younger, and are seen reaching into someone's pocket, you could get in quite a bit of trouble (the same would be if you're an adult). So that's something to remember as well.
