So, I've starting pratising pickpocketing and although i have enough to learn, i think i'll get there.

My goal is to place items ON people, like a card in their wallet. Most training sources are all about taking stuff from people, which use physics sometimes...
Are there any sources about how to place stuff on people?

Regards

One of the great methods for _stage pickpocketing_ is to get the guy on stage and openly start point out where he keeps his wallet and other goods. Then, you openly remove his wallet from his rear pocket or inside jacket pocket, show it to everybody, and say "You've got your wallet in this pocket..." then in the act of replacing it you place it on the _outside_ of the pocket and stick your two fingers in the pocket instead, simulating the feel of the wallet returning. Now you've got the guys wallet. You do this with a bunch of objects on the guy, quickly, taking out and apparently returning. When done with several objects the mind can't keep up and it provides strong misdirection. Some objects you legitimately return, some you don't. But as the guy is feeling around himself you're two steps ahead stealing his watch, belt, eyeglasses case, necktie, whatever he has. You're apparently performing a little reconnaissance work finding out what and where everything is, but in the process you're two steps ahead of the guy who doesn't even know you've begun taking him to the cleaners.

As with any pickpocketing act this takes practice...and nads as big as church bells.

Here's some of my favorite books, dvds, and literature on pickpocketing:

-THEATRICAL PICKPOCKETING by Jim Ravel (book)

-PROFESSIONAL STAGE PICKPOCKETING by Ricki Dunn (book)

-CUTTING UP TOUCHES The History of Pickpocketing (book)

-HOW TO PICK POCKETS by Eddie Joseph (book)

-TECHNIQUES OF THE PROFESSIONAL PICKPOCKET by Wayne B. Yeager (book)

-WHIZ MOB by David Maurer (book)

-OLIVER TWIST (2005 movie) James Freeman's pickpocket scenes.

-HARRY IN YOUR POCKET (1974 movie) Best criminal pickpocketing movie ever made.

-MASTERING THE ARE OF PICKPOCKETING by James Coats (DVD)

Run the word 'pickpocketing' past Wikipedia, Youtube, Google, Yahoo, and most importantly the Magic Cafe archives, which is loaded with information and sources.

...lastly, here is an interesting pickpocketing video from Youtube to get you hyped up on the subject:

Just to add to the references;

Pickpocket ~ a 1918 (or some long ago year like that) French film put on YT (by the title of P!(|<P0(|<37 or something like that... It's written in symbols). There's subtitles, and it shows how the man is practicing, and plenty of little... I don't want to say Cons... Heists?

Anyways, pretty good, even for being so old
