LOL...you're very, very close to getting a B_slap for that one, my friend...remember...don't ask how things are done here. You know that.

Here's some advice for you though...get Greg Wilson's On the Spot. He'll get you started on the right foot.

hmmm...looks like you need to get your head srewed on and get some vids and books. Try, like B_magic said, on the spot first, for a rough idea of performance techniques. 'how to pickpocket for fun and profit', a small book, gives some details on pressure and misdirection, but lacks in street detail and concentrates on stage performing. llook around, c wot you can find.

Try " Mastering the art of pickpocketing " DVD by James Coats.
I have it, and you will learn how to steal watches, wallets, cellphones, belts, ties and more. Buy it. It's a great DVD.

I'm 26 and have been doing magic for the last 8 years. This includes working as a manager of a magic shop. I happen to like this one. It has a lot of great information. James Coats goes out on the street and pickpockets strangers then films the explanations and techniques. I think it gives great tips and strategies for practicing and patter. I just got it a couple of weeks ago, and since then, have been pickpocketing a little, stealing phones and cash (and giving it back of course). It works, but I'm apprehensive about doing it to people I'm not familiar with until I get a little more smooth. Like watch stealing, it is possible. This video, gives you the motivation and enthusiasm to try it. The first time you do it, you'll think to yourself, "I can't believe it actually works." I recommend the video, but just like everything else, it will take practice. Good luck!
