Have you checked that the DVD and your DVD Player are for the same zone? For example, a European DVD cannot be Played in an American (I think the zone is North America) DVD player.

a lot of low quanity (as in, not a lot are going to be made) dvds are burned dvds and older decks won't play them. if it's back is purple then it's definetly burned but even if its gold/silver i would try it in a computer or a newer player.

Is your player hooked up to tv directly or through the VCR? If vcr it might be copy protected..... Goonies was

If you have a PS2, push the select bottun and then choose play.
It should work then :D

i have that dvd, and it didn't work on my xbox, but then i put it in a normal dvd player and pressed play and it works that way.
