I've been doing close up magic for around 4-5 years now, and I recently bought Mastering The Art if Pick pocketing with James Coats. I'm hoping to incorporate some pick pocketing in my routine (I already do the Watch Steal).
First of all I'm curious if any of you have any ideas for practice, besides a manikin or the infamous family member. Second of all I noticed that I couldn't seem to fester up the guts to steal anything in another person's pocket. The only thing I could think of is that it's sort of like the watch steal...after you do it...you're like...wow this actually works and they don't notice?? Is pick pocketing the same way?
