the point of the pickpocketing we discuss here is not to steal stuff from people. there are two kinds of pickpocketing we talk about here. First is the magician who takes stuff from volunteers without them knowing and reveals what has been taken as sort of a magical effect. The second is what I do, you call up a volunteer who knows they are about to be pickpocketed, and take all their stuff and most of their clothes with little effort and lots of laughs. neither is illegal, they're both forms of entertainment.

It's only illegal if you steal things and don't give them back. Pickpocketing for entertainment is as legal as card tricks. Apollo Robbins tells you he's going to pick your pockets, then does it and shows your watch or wallet to everyone in the crowd, then he gives it back.

oh ok, i get it know.
So pickpocketing is like the stealing watch thing. I think david blaine did this, when he held his 2 cards up front and wave. IS that it?

Yes, that's magical pickpocketing.
