I learned probably the best way to deal with hecklers ive seen yet from scarne on card tricks. (its a great book by the way dont let no slieghts fool you. pick it up) heres his advice: if someone keeps saying, let me shuffle! let me do this! do this! whatever, you say. Listen, i will do this trick my way, you can do yours your way. and hand them the coins cards, whatever you are working with. naturally, they will not know what to do and will most likely stop. if the heckling persists, put away your props and say, thats enough for now. now instead of everyone liking them for figuring out your tricks, they are the idol of the audiences contempt, he made you stop. this is great advice. i will definately be using this in the future.
