show me a trick! (and you dont feel like it)

does anybody have some good one-liners to say when someone says "show me a trick" and your not in the mood to do magic.

I ussually say "I dont know any magic"
Or "I always show you tricks,you show me one."

Not in the mood for magic? I'm always in the mood for magic! But, as it about control, you must turn the situation around so that you control the spectator......discuss a few tricks, why they want to see one, and how much they're willing to pay you....

In other words, what's the difference between you approaching someone and someone approaching you? CONTROL. Who is in control?

But, still.........there needs to be the occasional out, and the funnier the better, so on the rare occasion that I was either unprepared or just downright tired, I try to baffle them with BS.

Example:

"I can't right now, because the forces of the hypotenuseal richter scale are not aligned with the proper photons of the hypothetical diagonal concerning Jupiter, Mars, and Uranus. If Uranus was in the right position, I could kick it into high gear, but I am having a problem right now with Uranus, and it stinks to say so........."

Just because someone wants to see something, doesn't mean you have to perform. You don't need any one liners. Just tell them that you're not working at the moment, so you don't really feel up to it.
