I usually claim that I dont know how any of my tricks work, they just do

I like to just smile at them and say...well is it cool if I show you something else? This leads me on to my next trick.

i used this one before i even did magic, i use it sometimes.

I just say "very carefully", smile, and move on

LOL. That's a little bit more farfetched than the average answer, but I suppose it would work. Ever seen the movie clockstoppers? It was really dumb, but the idea of the watch was interesting.

moving on is the best way to avoid answering this question, in my opinion, or even a nice smile. i do have one remark, though.

usually people who jokingly say that move on, but if the member persists, either move on or stop, depends on your mood.
