I was i math and me and another kid were both done our work. This is usually a suitable time to do magic. One of my newer tricks was the dime and penny trick. I had already done it to two girls. the were saying, "I actually felt it disappear!", and things like that. Well, this kid said, " hey look there is a -blank- on the -blank-!",. He then popped the gimmick apart and everyones opinions changed from "cool trick" , to "thats just stupid!". What should I do when this kid or other hecklers come around when I'm preforming? I could really use advice.

well in this case you can get scotch and soda. The principle is the same, however you can not seperate it with your hands. This makes it MUCH harder for hecklers to figure out.

In most cases you will not have an out that is as easy as this, so i recommend that you just not perform when that kid is around. If he does not want to be entertained then there is no reason to try to entertain him, especially if he is just going to make others lose interest.
