what should I do if I have a trick that I can only do once to a person and then I do it and they go get someone else and bring them over and tell me to do it again to show the other person?

It happens. Just don't let him announce you as "Do that trick where the card changes color."

People like to be "in on the fun." They gets pleasure from seeing the reaction on his friend's face from seeing something he liked. Just tell him not to blow the ending or it'll ruin it for all of you.

I met Johnny Thompson (The Great Tomsoni) at a trade show and saw him do a trick that couldn't be repeated. He did. He was set up with alternate endings just for that reason. So, if you have something that's printed on the back of a wallet or engraved on a watch, or something like that, prepare yourself ahead of time with a different finale, second wallet, two watches, whatever.

I developed a trick many years ago that couldn't be repeated. Cards changed colors and the selections were forced. I now carry two decks so I can change up the force cards and ending so it's fresh to the person who saw it the first time. Plus, if he thinks he knows how it's going to end you have the added benefit of fooling the same person TWICE.

Another idea is to act like you completely screwed the trick up, but then take it in a different direction fooling the person who previously seen it too.

Awesome idea!
This can be a very good way of getting into a Triumph routine
