If someone heckles you when you do a trick by saying "it would be a real trick if you __________"

here is my response:

"what's your name"

"Bob" for lack of an actual spectator.

"Where are you from Bob"

"New York"

"(shouting) Hey look it's Bob from New York!!!!!! See know one cares"

They're usualy so embarresed they go away!

Classic Gazzo line. With the proper timing and personality it just might work.

"Really? It would be better trick that way? Man, I am glad you are here. Teach me!"

Spectator: "Uh... I don't know how to do it... I just thought..."

"No, I insist!"

Most of the time I spring the cards on them. I know it sounds mean, but you have to see it in performance. Even the person getting the cards sprayed laughs. It's very lighthearted, even if it doesn't sound like it.

Be cautous in using stuff like this though. Some people, if not presented correctly, take great offense to that.

One time I had a guy say that who had been heckling me thoughout the whole show, and I said, "Really? Do you have a deck of cards I could try that with?"

and he pulled one out. I took the deck, started the trick like he said, and said I would find it. I threw the deck in the air, and then the bell rang.

I don't advise doing this. Ever. No matter the heckler. But I couldn't resist.

So I used it and said

Sounds fun, but I wouldn't do it early on in my performance. Then I would either have to switch to a new deck or stop performing, because I'm not going to be the loser that has to get down on the floor and pick up his cards. I've been down that road before, and I'm not doing it again!

My response to stuff like that is usually "ok bro talk to me on facebook" in a sarcastic tone
