what should i say when people ask me 'where do you learn your magic tricks? books? who taught you?' ... i dont mind when they say 'how do you do that?', but these questions kinda bug me.

i usually just say something vague like ive just always been able to do it.... or something dumb...

i try to just ignore them, but if that person is the only spectator then i just tell him to look it up in the dictionary(suprisingly they will really do it), or go look in an encyclopedia.

I would probably ask them if they were really interested in performing.

I always say "If I told you, you wouldn't believe me" because it's true.

For me, I just say I have ALOT of free time. Which is true.

Because I like to think I was born with magic powers.
No I'm not David Blaine's little brother.

Sometimes I say "If I told you, you wouldn't belive me".
Or sometimes I just say that I came up with it. ( Ok, sue me. But they dont care after that. )

It all depends on who asks and when if i have a really young kid or an adult, I just usually say something like, i don't know i just know how to do it. But if i have a person who seems like they want to learn I encourage them to go to the library and read about magic.

I just say "i forget" and they are like no you dont, and i say "i dont what"

When somebody askes me " how did you do that?" I reply, " i did it in style"

another thing to say if people ask "how do you do that" is to say "i did it quite well if i do say so myself" and either perform another trick or walk away.
