If your indoors you can say, Sorry the Ceiling is to Low, or if your outside you can say, Hmmmm air traffic looks pretty busy today and i dont want to get hit by any airplanes. Or you could just say no.

You could say:

-I could but I might kill a bird.
-I'm not wearing my shoes which have jet engines fitted in the soles.
-I just broke my wires.
-My magnets on the blink.
-I don't have my smoke and mirrors on me.
-I need to borrow a $20 note to do it, thank you. (then run off with their money)
-I'll do it but you need to stand back a bid just go and stand behind that building over there and I will do it.
-I'll teach you how to do it if you want, just streach you arms out like that and start flapping, thats it now try jumping and you should just stay in the air. It's not working well try running while flapping and then jump while running. Thats still not working, well see thats why I won't do it today.

Or you could say ok get that chair(if there is a chair near) now I will stand on it and when I say kick it out from underneth me. Ok kick it (you fall flat on your face break your nose and go to hospital).

Or you could say no.

I use an idea my mom gave me. Stand like David Blaine does, and get really into it, breathing like you're meditating, or something, spread your arms out, and just give a little hop. Then act out like you're about to hurl like Blaine does, and you'll be fine. I've done it at my bowling alley, and I got a fairly large chuckle out of everyone. Have fun!

You could try saying....

"of course i can levitate, but it requires alot of concentration, are you willing to help...ok, good. Here's what you do...Close your eyes and really concentrate...Think about being free, now i want you to picture me floa......Whew, did you see it!!! I have people ask me all the time because for the average person they've only seen David Blaine on television...so I usually make something up like what has been said before...
