What do you do if someone says "let me put the card in the middle of the deck" in an ACR?

Try this: Spread the cards and tell him to put the card in wherever he wants. Then, when he puts it in, cull it to second from the bottom (you can learn how to cull cards in this manner on some of the instant downloads).

Show the bottom card and say it's not on the bottom. Do a glide and take out the second-from-bottom card (The selection) face down and put it on the table. Say that it's not on the top (show the top card and put that on the table face down on top of the other card). Put both cards on the deck, click your fingers and do a DL to show that the selected card is now on top.

You can now continue with the routine.

I hope none of this is exposure!

If you get good enough, I often will let them insert it into the deck and I do one of 2 things.

1: I wll gtip the deck tight and when they push in their card the 2 cards on either side will injog alowing you to locate their card.

2: let them insert it into a dribble and just slop dribble the rest of the cards allowing me to get a break above their card.

Those are the easiest ways to cope to this situation. THere are thousands of things you can do. Just take a couple of hours and thingk of your own method.
