Holy Moly. Stops everyone in their tracks. Or you could use Mercuring... or Wrap It Up... Or Not This Card!... (Sorry, I am a Sankey-Head.) Those will never be found out.

Sorry, Holy Moly isn't a good heckler stopper. I'm not particularly familiar with the others.

If you want to stop a heckler, you need to make something yourself. Something he couldn't possibly know.

HA!!!

I saw Heckler, and I was less than impressed. Tudor can move his hands faster than most, but that doesn't change the fact that you still know what he's doing.

P.S. Card From Fly is a great effect. When the table's dead, it's a great trick to liven 'em up. I have a little pouch with several duplicates pinned inside so I can do it more than once if need be.
"Is that a card in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me? Oh, nevermind, it's a card."

I think we've already discussed the poor economic situation created by hiring a hit man.

try some differnt tricks that he won't know how to do. I was thinking a a bill change such as Hundy 500, Heiny 500 or Extreme Burn. Do an awesome effect like these and after you change the bills immediatly put them in your pocket or what would be cool is if youchange a 1 into a 5 or something then put all the bills but one 5 in your pocket. Then spend the 5 on snack or lunch
right in front of them so teh know its real. Check out Extreme Burn here on Penguin then you will know what I'm talking about.

Unless you're exceptionally good, an effect is not the way to deal with a heckler. Humor is better and much more effective.

I use this one if I'm heckled while doing promotional magic.

"I know how you did that"
(Hold fingers in "snap" position) "Do you want me to set you on fire!? 'Cause I'll do it! I'll do it right now man!"

Start shaking your hand a bit in the middle and be sure to put alot of feeling into it - enough so they're positive it's a joke. When you get to the end of the sentence, stop moving completely.

"Sorry about that. . . would you like to see another trick?"
Said in a soft polite voice.

Notes:
If you do this wrong, people will just think that you're insane.
If you do it right, they'll laugh like they're insane.
Not appropriate for use with child and female hecklers.

Make them feel small compared to you. I pull out a rubiks cube and politely say "You figure this out while I entertain the rest of the audience", its a nicer way of saying Shutup Axxhole. If they fight back, you do the most simple thing, STOP PERFORMING FOR THEM. If they don't appreciate what you are showing them, they don't deserve to watch it. And if its a kid in your school, wait till he is by his locker when you are walking by and simply yell out "Hockey Check" and slam him into the lockers, then continue to kick him in the face until blood comes out of his eyes...and if you get into trouble, punch the principal in the face hahahaha.

I never thought of that! I will try that! "I know how you did that!" "You do? You must be really smart... Can you help me with this? Finish this while I finish up this magic here."
