Most of the time somebody asks me "Where did u learn that from?" all I say is, "In a small place in my mind, Wanna join it?" and if they ask me "How did u do that?" all I say is "With my magical powers"

"How did you do that?"

I usually respond with... nothing. I simply smile and continue on. Let them think about it for themselves... tends to increase the reaction.

"Where did you learn that?"

I usually respond with "around." It gets the point across.

I usually just tell them the name of the magician that developed the trick. Most of the time people will just forget it and wont take the time to do research if they can even spell it, and if they do actually take the time and effort to go and research about the magician, which tells them no secrets, but gives them information on the art of magic and they see that it is not easy or simple tricks, they might have a new appreciation for magic and they might get interested in magic, and thats a great way to start out. And it usually gets them quiet when I say some name that they can't pronounce, they just stop asking questions.
