I usually just tell them the name of the magician that developed the trick. Most of the time people will just forget it and wont take the time to do research if they can even spell it, and if they do actually take the time and effort to go and research about the magician, which tells them no secrets, but gives them information on the art of magic and they see that it is not easy or simple tricks, they might have a new appreciation for magic and they might get interested in magic, and thats a great way to start out. And it usually gets them quiet when I say some name that they can't pronounce, they just stop asking questions.
