what do you do if someone says they find out the trick? i know you ask them not to say it or anything but they just say:

"i know how you did that! you kept the coin in that hand!(points to your hand)" then what?

also, there's thisone person who manages to figure out most of my tricks, mostly just because he keeps ending up where i am performing and sees it like 10 times. then, he proceeds to tell people how i do my tricks whenever i perform.

can anyone help me?

This used to happen to me a lot and then I started applying a technique used for pickpocketing magic. What you want to do is speak fast and say confusing thngs, if you do this right they will begin to doubt themselves and become unsure. Make sure you ditch your gimmics really quick and dont worry too much, however I have some advice for you. Don't perform one new effect each week or whatever, it makes it easier to pick up, save up your tricks and perform it for a large group so you only have to do one performance and there is a lot for everyone to take in, its when you can't do different tricks day to day that you get in trouble. Currently I'm still saving my metal bending routine and my rope routine for later on in the year at school even though I have known them for well over a year. Anyway, I hope this helps man!

Put the coin into pinch or backpalm and show both hands empty. Say "which hand?" Make sure not to say the line so it sounds challenging though.
