ok, let me get this straight. you say something that sounds like heckling, the magician gets annoyed. nothing wrong right now.

later on he challenges you. kinda weird, but still, it would show a heckler whos boss. you apoligise. he understands, and apoligises himself, not realising you have good intentions. he says he still respects you, and you say how absolutly horrible this guy was.

I think you pretty much covered it. But if that happened there would be an imense temptation to show him up, thats just me. By the way, what trick did he do? Just curious.

I would suggest when a friend asks you if you can do what the magician is doing instead of saying 'Yes I can' or 'Yes I know how it's done' you instead turn and look at them before putting your finger to your mouth and whispering 'Shhhhh keep watching you'll miss something if you don't.' and then look back at the magician.

And why is it that in all the threads in this forum it is suggested that when a heckler interupts a magician you say 'Go on then, lets see you do it if you know how it's done.' but when another magician says exactly what was suggested elsewhere you say you should have busted out some killer moves and flourishes and embaressed his [edited].
