when i perform the gadabout coins routine, i need to have one coin secretly palmed in one hand. (audience aware of only 3 coins). so once i was about this routine when at the begining someone asked me to show my hands empty before starting the trick!!
Im sure that no one saw the coin palmed! This kind of this actually spoils the whole show! What should i do to stop this kind of thing happening again??

Well if you have a coin in your hand and they want to see both your hands emtpy, do the all around vanish in on the spot dvd.

Either that, or you could practice. When you're palming a coin, the audience should never expect anything. I understand that occasionally you will get that specatator, as I've dealt with them a few times, but if it happens a lot, just practice more.

do a coin roll in the hand that you have the coin palmed in, lay people assume you can't flourish witha hand that has something palmed in it. Small minded foolish people

MMMWWWAAAHHHHAAAAAAAA

Manipulate it into Goshman pinch (held on the back of your hand between your fingers) and casually show your palm empty. Not in a "Hey, look, my palm is totally empty, honest" way, but just make sure that they can see your palm. Then they will be satusfied enough that your hand is empty.

Or, show your hands empty (which they are - the extra coin is in your pocket) and in producing the visible coins (either magically or from a pocket) casually reach into your pocket and palm the extra coin.

Or, pretend you don't hear them. Don't pause (that will imply that you heard them). Without missing a beat, continue the routine (if you've practised it enough this will be easy) and hopefully you won't have any problems.

I've had the same problem with the cups and balls. A ball is secretly underneath a cap at the beginning, but many want to see under the cup at the start. So, I have the ball palmed and in showing the cup empty and replacing it on the table, the ball is secreted under the cup. That sorts 'em out.

goshman pinch all the way. an extra convincer is to slide the coin onto your bicept after the goshman pinch with a little misdirection. to redirect it back to your hands, pretend to rub your hands but right before you do so your hand goes under your elbow. its a split second thing.

Take a note from the book of close, always have attention somewhere else when palming a coin. Trust me it helps.
