leaving?

You always get people telling you how to approach people, but how do you leave them?

They always ask to see more!

(please consider professional events, not street magic)

Well, i would save one of the Best reaction tricks to save for the end, and when you do that trick, and get the the huge reactions you want, just say "Thank You, Thank You" and walk away...

What if it's your friend and he wants to see it again? I did the B2-Bomber and he wanted to see it again but I was afraid that I would screw up even though I Practice a bunch. How do I get out of that situaion?

Well for a professional event, you should have a set routine. It ends when it ends.

That is the same as it is on the street.

To end any routine, just tell them that that's your time and move on. I usually would just tell them to have a good night and walk away.

Always leave them begging for more. Don't try to satisfy them so much that they aren't interested in seeing more from you. This applies to women as well as audiences.

an excellent followup to the stealth pen or b2 bomber is using jay sankey's DOUGH effect. People ALWAYS want to see you penetrate a bill ONE MORE TIME. So if you MUST, then do so BUT change your method. Watched the preview for DOUGH and you'll see what I mean. I do this all the time and people LOVE it and it satisfies them to a point but leaves them asking for more

Theres a line that tends to be overused but it works.

"If you enjoyed my performance my name is (insert your name here), if you didnt like my show my name is David Copperfield" (Doug Henning, David Blaine, Criss Angel, whatever name you choose to use)

If its a walk around show, I end with a stronger piece and say thank you very much my name is JK and hopefully I'll see you later on this evening. I usually end with a routine using a business card so I'm all set.
