their's this one kid at school, and it's practically in his nature to give thigs away! if he thinks he figures out how i do a trick, when i'm showing someone else, he says "you know he just______". just today i was telling someone a joke and he said"yeah, he's pitching on tuesday" before i finished.! he's so annoying. i didn't run enough laps in PE because i forgot how many i had done. and he threatened to tell on me, but he's the only kid i know who would actually tell on a kid for not running enough laps in PE.

this kid is just sad in my opinion. today i finally said he should just be quiet and let people experience it themselves. some people haven't heard this joke yet. or seen the magic trick... etc.

what would you do in this situation?

I suggest that you don't perform magic around him. Seriously, just because you know a few tricks doesn't mean that you have to show them to everyone the whole time. Take my advice: practise your tricks until you can do them 20 times in a row FLAWLESSLY. Once you can do that it'll be much harder for others to work out your tricks (unless they know some magic like the DL).

Then, only unleash your magic when the time is right. Don't say "I'm going to do a trick - watch this!" That will only ensure that people will be paying more attention. On the other hand, if some friends are talking about money, you could just randomly walk up to them and say: "Hey, I've noticed something funny about these dollar bills. I've found it's possible to stick a pen through them and they're completely unharmed." That kind of approach, in my opinion, is more magical.

REMEMBER: Don't perform your magic because you want to - perform it because the time is right.

If you're doing a trick for him and he tries to give it away then stick an i'm Edited sign on his back. Then everyone will be laughing at him and he wont have a clue wats going on.

Punch him or summit. He sounds extremely annoying so it might make you feel better if you hit him.

Actually, they'd laugh at you when he beats the crap out of you, but you go right on ahead and try it. I'd love to hear the story.

After that, just walk away. The people who actually like your magic and would like to see more of it will walk with you, and tell the kid to get lost or something. Just ignore him.

Everytime he walks up to your crowd, no matter what, if your in the middle of a trick or anything just stop and walk away. And the crowd your leaving because of that kid, the crowd will follow you and if the kid trys to follow they tell him to leave so he is not by himself and no one likes him.

this is what i would do get your thumb really strong then learn the long distance spinner and if hes watching over you when your doing a trick to someone BAM do long distance spinner right between the eyes everyone will laugh edited never ruin your tricks again
