i use gimmicked decks like the rising card deck at school. what do i do if kids want to play a game with those cards?

Pretty much anything except "i can't because they are magic"
They would say something like "yeah becuase those cards have something special about them". You could also avoid bringing cards to school and avoid doing card tricks.

i don't know if you could do this with your rising card deck, but you could try using tudors deck vansih

No doubt man! NEVER have a gimmicked deck without an ungaffed dupe handy. Then in the worst case, you can put the deck away and say "no I can't let you see that" then act like you change your mind and whip out the normal deck. Of course there are much slicker ways of switching decks than that, but its always a good cover.

By the way, you probably know that there are rising card effects which don't use special decks and leave you clean.
