Yes. The very dreaded "hecklers" My grandmother does all that sh!7!!!! Spectators aren't spectators they're secret detectives out to ruin you I swear it. "How did you do that" (about 15 times) or "Are those trick cards?" or the dreaded endless barage of annoying questions really makes me not want to perform in front of people ever again lol. No advice needed, just needed to get it off my chest lol :D

what jared said I think is important. Why would you perform for people that are out to get you? you're not doing magic to prove to people you can do it!!! there are a lot more people out there who just wants to be entertained and amaze!
Except my family. They think that since they're family, they have the RIGHT to know!! its funny....

I always like to point out that simply this is what happens when you're a magician, it comes with the territory. The best way to prevent it, is to be a better magician.

I have found the best answer to the "How you do that!" question is:

"I don't know."

It really throws them off guard, they don't expect it. It then gets them to focus on me not knowing and not on my effect as I slip it into my pocket.

I don't share the secrets with my family members except for my spouse. She actually assists me with some effects; card thru window etc, etc.
